Welcome to DVStudios LIVE webcast test page.  Using the steps in our test you will be able to determine how well live streaming video will perform in your sanctuary or conference room or on your personal computer.  LIVE streaming is a new technology for most people so this test can help you sort our the many issues that can affect the quality of your
streaming experience. 

This test is designed to work for anyone with high speed internet (Broadband) connection, a PC running Widows XP or 2000 (may also work with ME or 98SE or MAC OS10)  with the latest version of Windows Media Player Series 9. 

Since connection speeds (bandwidth) varies greatly based on providers, network traffic, and firewall settings it's important to test the system in the same configuration that you will use while watching the live program.  We are steaming a live satellite signal through our LIVE Webcast system to simulate exactly what you will be getting during the live program.

          STEP 1:  Make sure you all devices are on and working.  Cables, speakers, TV, Internet etc.
                    You've got a good PC going with Windows Media 9 working and the appropriate Internet  
                    Connection.
 


          STEP 2:   CLICK HERE TO TEST YOUR DOWNLOAD BANDWIDTH AT THE POINT OF PLAYBACK
                          (note that you must have at least 25-50% more bandwidth than the stream rate to
                      get consistent playback)

          STEP 4:   CLICK HERE  TO TEST  PLAYBACK OF A  LIVE 200k Video & Audio STREAM
                           (note the 32kbps audio and 480x360 pixel video of this stream should work well at full
                      screen on playback - 300k minimum bandwidth requirement for good playback)

                           (note the 48kbps audio and 640x480 pixel video of this stream should work well at full
